I have been getting seriously adventurous these days...while I was on my strict bootcamp diet I was REALLY craving some pizza. Then I saw this recipe on pinterest for pizza with a cauliflower crust. Click the pic to see the original recipe.

We recently had taco night at our house and I saw an idea on Pinterest to use wanton wrappers and make "taco cupcakes" instead of using tortillas for a low carb taco night. So we decided to try it out.
Recently I was thinking about how Ryan and I don't have a "date night" and I decided to plan at least one outing per month that is something different from our normal activities. Some of the things I thought of are more date like, some are just fun outings, even couples outings. The first thing I picked for us was the recent Brevard County parade of homes. Basically the Parade of Homes highlighted numerous model homes in the area and we drove around to check them out. I snapped a few pics of some of the houses we liked best and shared them below. Overall it was a really fun outing with our friends Dop & Amy and we all went out to lunch afterwards. Especially considering the "parade" was free, it was a great afternoon activity! You might recall that I have been continuing to pack Ryan's lunches (I mean specific meals, not just throwing whatever leftovers I can find into a tupperware and lunchbox). I was tired of washing several containers of varying sizes every day when Ryan came home so I did some digging on what lunchbox containers were out there and which were the best. After my research, I settled on getting some Ziploc Divided Containers.
Last Sunday wasn't just Easter - it was also my 28th Birthday, woohoo! The night before my birthday we went out to a local bar called the Broken Barrel Tavern with some friends for BBQ and beers. But my biggest excitement for my birthday this year was this ice cream cake that I thought up...
I know I'm a week behind but I still wanted to share my Easter treats and birthday sweets with you guys. For those who don't know, my birthday was on Easter this year. Combined with the fact that I was on a strict diet for Bikini Bootcamp, I was ready to have a BIG cheat day for my birthday.
I know it's been TWO WHOLE WEEKS since my last post and I promise I'll share more of what I've been up to but before that, I want to show you Adrianne's quilt. Adrianne has been so patient while I worked on her quilt and it really came out adorable.
I was doing so good blogging for a couple weeks and now here I am, almost two weeks behind again. Yikes! Maybe it's the time of year? Anyways, last time we talked about Adrianne's quilt, I had just finished cutting and interfacing all the shirts. Since then, I'd say I've made a bit more progress.
Previously, I made Ryan some delicious sundried tomato and arugula chicken sandwiches. I wanted to make him some more awesome lunches this week but I needed a new idea. Thus - the BBQ turkey sandwich.
Ok so this recipe isn't quite as healthy as the others I've posted - but we needed a nice dinner together that wasn't too horrible for you or too expensive. Here's how I managed it....
