Sorry I haven't been around much...I have been working lots and by the time I get home I'm practically brain dead. So what's new...hmm...
Well i finally filed my taxes and it came out fine. Taxes are always such a pain and they are so much worse since Ryan and I split the costs of everything but we aren't married so some stuff is in my name, some in his, etc. We end up playing with the numbers a bunch to make it fair to each of us and still pay as little taxes as possible.
My birthday is coming up Friday and I find myself really missing my bday buddy Gwen (her bday is the day before mine). I miss being a kid and having awesome bday parties or even just all going out to the bar or something. Now i'm old and lame...Ryan and I will eat dinner together and maybe rent a redbox or something. I thought about trying to plan something but I was so busy with work and now it's less than a week away. I know my next two closest friends Rachel and Beth already have plans in Orlando for another friend's bday so their weekend is taken. Melissa is all the way up in Jax and has 2.5 kids so she can't come down, Kayla is on her honeymoon, and Carolyn isn't usually up for barhopping and staying up late. Liz would probably hang out if she isn't working. But that's about it. So that pretty much rules out a gang of people going out together...maybe next year. Plus I'll probably have to work late anyways so i guess it doesn't matter. Last year i wanted to have an 80's party but it just didn't happen. Maybe next year...I hope i don't just keep saying that every year, LOL. Well worst case i will definitely make plans to do something fun for my 30th bday even if it's by myself so that means after this year there are a maximum of 3 more lame birtday
We would of come down, but it's probably much better that we didn't since it would of been hard for Ryan to propose with Greg and I on the next couch lol! :)
