Mom’s Table runner
Due: As soon as possible since it was a Christmas gift

Sequence:
  1.      Wash, press and Cut fabric…DONE
  2.      Baste all hexagons and stitch together… DONE
  3.      Complete quilt top  … DONE
  4.      Quilting … DONE
  5.      Appliqué Flowers ... Not Started
  6.      Binding and Finishing … Not Started
Goal Last Week: Finish stitching hexagons.
Accomplishments: I finished basting all the hexagons and sewing them together.

I trimmed the edges to make the square and sewed on the purple and green borders.

I layered the quilt top with the batting and the backing.

I used my basting gun to secure the three layers together.  See the pink tacks?

For the quilting on the hexagons, I sort of did an echo effect.  It came out ok but I should have basted it better because there are some ripples on the back.

In the border I quilted a leaf pattern that I just did freehand and it came out great!  Hope mom isn't disappointed about the wrinkles on the back.
