Step 3: Hire an officiant...Meeting with one on Wednesday
Step 4: Find a DJ...in work
Step 5: Choose/finalize the wedding party (bridesmaids and groomsmen). Hmm...I didn't think this would be that hard for us but it turns out it is quite difficult, LOL. Ryan has four people that he wants as groomsmen at minimum and maybe a couple more if i want more bridesmaids. He has also already picked his best man (he knew who he wanted immediately and has just been waiting until we finalized the date and agreed on the number of bridesmaids and groomsmen). Mine turns out to be much more difficult. I have a few friends that I used to be really close with who I have kind of started to lose contact with...and a few friends that I have started to hang out with more but we're just starting to get close. The only person who I knew for sure would be in the wedding (and who already knows) is my sister Amanda.
I thought that after all the weddings Ryan was in, he would be having tons of groomsmen and I would have a hard time finding enough bridesmaids. But it turns out he has a smaller group and I am having a hard time narrowing down the bridesmaid list. I hope no one is upset if I don't choose them for my bridal party but really I am having a hard time just because I want them all to be a part of it. We originally thought 4 to 5 bridesmaids/groomsmen but I have a list of 6 in my head (well really 7 but I have already decided that it would be too difficult for one of the girls to be in my wedding even though I know I would want her and I know she would do it). So now I have to choose between having 6 bridesmaids or picking someone to not include in the wedding party. Any suggestions? I don't want the wedding to get too big but i don't want to exclude anyone either. And any suggestions for how I decide on who to include or exclude from the party?
