Once I got all those star centers and star surrounds done, it was time to put together the final blocks and pieced the top. Similar to how I assembled the star surrounds, I sewed the blocks into three rows and then sewed the rows together. Repeat for all 16 blocks in the quilt and then decide how to lay them out. Next, I sewed them into quarters, then halves and then finally sewed the completed quilt top. So exciting!!! I am SOO thrilled with the way that the top came out and I really love the contrast in the star centers. I can't wait to get it quilted and bound!
