After the last quilt order or two, I decided to use the money I earned to upgrade my quilt shipping supplies. I ordered some boxes that are sized appropriately for my quilts, some clear plastic bags to protect the quilts from water damage and ribbon to wrap them up in.
I also got some business cards (unfortunately not in time to put one in Gwen's box), adhesive shipping labels and printed out invoice copies. I am in the process of ordering some woven quilt labels (finally!!) to attach to the back of my quilts that shows my company name, website, care instructions and the year. Lastly, I need to make or buy some little hang tags to attach to the ribbon with any additional notes.
I feel so professional now! I am still working on the Triple Quilt Order and then in the past week or two I have also gotten inquiries from a friend of Gwen's for a baby clothes quilt, from my Aunt for a tshirt quilt and from a girl in my sorority for possibly two tshirt quilts! Hopefully I can get all this stuff done before the wedding, lol.
