Relaxing & Recovering
This past weekend was fairly low-key for us - we cleaned our cars and did some chores and then Saturday night Ryan went shrimping with some friends. Apparently you just shine a light in the water, watch for them and net them up. They were out there for at least 4 or 5 hours but they came back with around 150 shrimp! And the shrimp they brought back were pretty darn big :) Here's a pic of Ryan cooking them up on the grill Sunday:
Monday was back to usual at work and it was the first day back at bootcamp. We had a pretty tough workout and at the end of the workout i thought I was going to be sick which was pretty surprising since I actually ate pretty well. I figured I would feel better shortly after we were done working out but as I was driving home my stomach was feeling worse and worse...by the time I got close to the house I was quite certain I was going to be sick. Yep. Barely made it into the driveway. Didn't even turn off the car. Just darted out the door and got sick...all over my driveway...in front of half our neighbors. I guess I ate something bad or I got some sort of stomach flu or bug because I was sick for the next 24 hours. Which is why I didn't have much to blog about earlier this week - I was just home sick, doing a whole lotta nothin. Fortunately I was feeling better today and was able to get back to work and pretty much back to normal (I still ate pretty light, just in case). Hope everyone else is staying healthy!
