The Turkey Creek annual neighborhood garage sale was today and Ryan and I actually put stuff out this time...I think it was technically our first garage sale together, yay! I think we only made a couple hundred bucks but we really got rid of a ton of junk. Here's what sold:
Ashley's:
Extra purses
Walkman CD player
Digital Camera
Ipod speaker
Scooba floor washing robot
Several fake plants
Several framed art pieces
Shower radio
Bathroom set (toilet, cup, toothbrush holder, trashcan, etc)
Old shower curtain
And probably some other stuff I've already forgotten...
Ryan:

Ladder
Cordless drill
Concrete float
Broken air compressor
broken water pump
Texture spray gun
Misc computer parts
Weed wacker
Blower
Broken xbox
And more random stuff...
It was crazy how much traffic there was...when we first started putting stuff out, people were buying it pretty much as fast as we could put it out there! There was a lot of junk that we probably would have just thrown away that other people wanted so i was glad that it could go to another person instead of the dump. At the end i walked through our neighborhood for a bit (and left Ryan to man our garage sale) and I met a few more of our neighbors (and bought a new clutch for $1). Next year we will definitely start gathering our stuff earlier so we can be a little more prepared and get more stuff out there. After we were done with the garage sale I was so tired I ended up taking a three hour nap, lol. Overall it was exhausting but fun and now we get to decide what to spend our $250 on :)
