So, if you read my earlier posts, I mentioned that I got an inquiry on my Etsy site for three shirt/clothing quilts. Well Danielle placed an order for the three quilts! I have done lots of quilts for friends, family, friends of friends, etc but this is my first Etsy order that is from someone who does not know me or anyone I know. I am so excited for the opportunity to work on these quilts and happy that Danielle is trusting me with her precious children's clothing to make her three great quilts! But I do not approve of unfinished projects so before I can start on that order, I need to finish Gwen's high school tshirt quilt. Tonight, I sewed on the borders so now the quilt top is completed and ready for me to layer it with the backing and batting and then quilt it on the machine, yay!! On a completely other note, the other night I tried out a new purple nail polish and some glitter. The glitter came out thicker than I expected - I wanted to do a small amount of glitter getting darker and darker towards the tip of the nail but the glitter was so thick that it was hard to do. I guess it still came out ok though - what do you guys think? Sorry for the bad lighting in the photos - during the day we get tons of natural light but at night our light fixtures always make each area either really dark or overly bright. Last but not least...I was in the middle of writing this post and I looked over and saw Willow sleeping with her eyes half open and her tongue hanging out. Adorable! She is the silliest dog I've ever met.
