Guidelines
- Tally the total number of points earned or lost for the day
- Each point equals one hour of TV/Computer time earned
- Points can roll over from day to day in order to save up (ex: for a long movie)
- If the balance at the end of the week is negative it will be reset at the start of the next week (Monday morning)
Points Earned
- Earn TWO points for completing a Bootcamp session, CrossFit WOD or similar
- Earn ONE point for a 3mi run, 45min gym workout or equivalent
- Earn ONE point for completing all chores listed below
- Earn ONE point for completing a project (like a sewing project or a home improvement project)
Ashley’s Chores that must be completed to earn TV point:
- No dirty dishes on the counters or sink
- One load of laundry done and put away
- Kitchen Table cleaned off
- One room/area picked up or cleaned
- Meals, snacks and workout bag prepared for the next day
Points Deducted
- Lose TWO points if you do not log your calories consumed (we use Calorie Counter)
- Lose ONE point if you logged your calories but went over your daily allowance (mine is 1400, Ryan’s is around 2000)
- Lose ONE point if you got less than 7hrs of sleep the previous night or stayed up past midnight
We started this yesterday and even Ryan agreed to do it so we'll see how it goes. Yesterday, I finished the day with 2 points and Ryan had zero. Although I got home so late from my bootcamp that by the time we finished dinner/dishes and got ready for today it was time for bed so we wouldn't have had time to watch TV anyways. So far I'm on track today to get two more points, woohoo!
