So at my last post it had been 5 days since I posted and I couldn't believe how much time I let go by...now here it is 9 days after that without another post, LOL. Let's start with the end of the Alpha Phi weekend about a week and a half ago. I totally forgot to take a picture of my fingernails I painted and since I didn't have any other pics I figured I better post this one, heehee. I did a red base and then silver tips and then someone suggested I paint a thin white line between the red and silver. But after I did that I wanted rhinestones on my nails. Unfortunately, all the other girls needed help so I only put them on one hand hahaha. I just used a little extra topcoat to secure them and that didn't seem to be quite enough - on all four fingers they fell off within a couple days (only the ones on my thumb stayed on). And here's a pic of the baking table and decorating area I had set up for the girls in the kitchen: After taking so much stuff out of my baking cabinet I just couldn't convince myself to stuff it back in there all disorganized again. So at the end of the weekend I filled up some containers we got from our wedding (and bought a bunch more) to try to get it organized. Here's roughly what the pantry looked like before - and this is AFTER I already took all that baking stuff out. This thing was packed to the gills... So I carefully filled all the containers and made notes about what was in them and how much each container holds (so I buy the proper size/amount of each ingredient when I need to refill). Now all I need to do is make some pretty labels for them! The cabinet is obviously still pretty full but now I can finally see all the ingredients and how much I have. And now nothing falls out of the pantry when I'm trying to take things out. Before, I found multiple packages of the same item because I guess I couldn't find it so I just bought more, LOL. Also, while I was being a little OCD...I had some fun with sprinkles too. Ok that's enough fun for tonight but I promise promise promise I will post more tomorrow :)
